Our goal is to provide a space for performers and audiences to come together and engage in the arts. We believe that the performing arts has the power to inspire and unite communities. OUR MISSION & HISTORY.
The journey to transform Rose Hill Church into an arts centre started in September 2023, when the church closed its doors for the final time. With passion, creativity and determination, Rose Hill Arts Centre CIC was formed to take on the project, and a team brought together to turn the church into an exceptional arts centre. Our mission is to bring together a range of performances, to encourage creativity and promote individual expression. We are looking forward to delivering a diverse range of events, from exhibitions and concerts to creative workshops for all ages.
OUR FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE.
At Rose Hill Arts Centre, we are dedicated to converting an old church into a new multi-purpose performance venue. With the help of our community, we aim to raise enough funds to purchase the building and revamp the space. Once the renovations are complete, we hope to provide a diverse range of performances for all to enjoy. Join us in making this vision a reality.

At Rose Hill Arts Centre, we are passionate about supporting local artists and providing them with a platform to showcase their talent. In collaboration with Chesterfield Studios, we wholeheartedly support performing arts education for personal growth and development. They will continue to offer a range of performing arts classes, groups and workshops for people of all ages and skill levels. Our aim is to provide a space where people can learn new skills, express themselves creatively, and connect with like-minded individuals.
We want to bring great theatre productions, touring artists, bands, comedians, and musicians into Chesterfield to perform at our venue. We want to provide our community with unforgettable experiences that only a small scale performance venue can offer.
